I've just spent a few minutes looking around the Vox site. So far, it doesn't strike me as sufficiently better than LiveJournal for me to want to switch. I do like the organization scheme for listing books, videos, photos, and other things your into, but I'm surprised there's no way to do your own bookmark or link collection. Maybe they could hook into del.icio.us. I also really DO NOT like the advertising. I've got a paid LJ account because I don't want to look at ads, and I'd prefer not having other people's advertising on my own posts. That's also a reason why I don't make large use of MySpace -- the advertsing it just way too intrusive there.
BTW, my main blog is http://unwiredben.livejournal.com; links to my other personal web resources are provided in the linkbar there.
